The 160-acre preserve is east of Highway 49. Three miles south of I-94 or 3/4 mile north of the Indiana Tollroad I-80.
The Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve is open from Dawn to dusk daily.

about us

The beautiful, tranquil atmosphere of Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve is located right along Indiana State Road 49 approximately a mile north of the Chesterton/Valparaiso exit of the I-80/90 Toll Road. A few points of interest of this nature oasis are the Chesterton Amphitheater, the Pavilion, Philips Pond, and Weir Bridge. Coffee Creek also has over 5 miles of trails for walking, running, biking, and hiking.

The Coffee Creek Watershed Conservancy is a 501 (C)(3) Organization dedicated to protecting, preserving and enhancing the remnant biodiversity of the 15.8 Coffee Creek Watershed.
