Fireworks on the Lakefront
Location: Indiana Dunes State Park
Date: Monday, July 2
The Duneland Chamber of Commerce will host the 10th Annual Fireworks on the Lakefront event on Monday, July 2, 2018. The event will take place at the Indiana Dunes State Park & the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Join the Chamber for food vendors and a spectacular fireworks show.
Food vendors will begin selling at 6:00 pm and the fireworks show will begin at 9:15 pm.
Entrance to the Indiana Dunes State Park is $7 per car, or $12 per car with an out-of-state license plate. Please be aware that there will be a high amount of traffic at the State Park and Porter Beach. Guests are also asked not to bring any fireworks to this professional fireworks show, in order to avoid fire hazards. Alcohol is not permitted within Indiana Dunes State Park.

Music entertainment begins at 7 p.m. followed by a family-friendly film at dusk around 8 p.m. The Concert & Family Film Series will take place on Fridays, June 8 & August 3 at Hawthorne Millennium Park, 500 Ackerman Drive in Porter, and June 15, 22, 29, July 6, 13, 20 & 27 at the Thomas Centennial Park Gazebo in Chesterton.
