Virtual Theatre Camp - Rising 1st - 4th Graders
Our current mission at Premier Performance is to provide meaning & structure in kids’ lives while helping them feel connected during this time of isolation. We hope to offer a little something for everyone this summer that encourages continued exploration & growth creatively – either at home, or back in the studio with us when the time is right.
Class Description
Calling all Actors! Let’s put on a show…virtually!!
We will learn & perform, “The Emperor’s New Clothes” – A Virtual Play!
For this project, students will rehearse & perform their show remotely! Along with group rehearsals, we will also create costumes & props, play virtual theatre games, and create some themed crafts together!
We will record our final performance then send a link to all participants to share with family/friends.

“The Emperor’s New Clothes” – A Virtual Play
In this classic Hans Christian Andersen tale, a vain Emperor falls prey to two swindlers who convince him to purchase expensive garments that are invisible.
Summer Camp Package Includes:

- Camp will be led virtually via Zoom (an online platform that works on your computer or mobile device…the only thing you need on your end is a camera!).
- Each camp session will be divided into the following sections:
- Warm up
- Games
- Group Rehearsal
- Creative Activity
