Dear Chamber Members:

In accordance with Article III, Section 3, of the Chesterton/Duneland Chamber of Commerce (dba Duneland Chamber of Commerce) Bylaws, the Nominating Committee and Secretary are proposing to the general membership the following slate of directors to be elected at the Board Installation of the Duneland Chamber of Commerce to be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. via ZOOM:
 
First Term beginning January 2025 through December 2027
Natalie Babcock, Perfection Medical Spa
Jeny Burkhart, The Waxi Taxi
Brian Fitzpatrick, Humane Indiana
Mike Moreth, Simko Signs
Penny Schlyer, Authentic Impact Business Coaching
Kasie Tenbarge, First Things First Porter County
Raeann Trakas, Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (previously served one-year fulfilling board seat)
 
Second Term beginning January 2025 through December 2027
Lisa Human, CLH, CPAs & Consultants
Dr. Chip Pettit, Duneland School Corporation
 
The above members are in good standing with the Chamber and has indicated their willingness to serve.
In accordance with Article III, Section 4, of the Chesterton/Duneland Chamber of Commerce (dba Duneland Chamber of Commerce) Bylaws, nominations other than the ones recommended may be made, either from the floor, or by filing a petition bearing the genuine signatures of at least ten (10) qualified members of the Chamber with the Secretary. The Secretary must file such petitions with the Nominating Committee within ten (10) days after notice has been given of the names of the slate of nominees. The determination of the Nominating Committee as to the legality of the petition(s) shall be final. All nominees for directorship must confirm their nominations prior to the election.
