Join us for the 15th Annual United Way Day of Caring Friday, August 4th in Porter and LaPorte Counties. Choose from 80+ projects at local non-profits today! Get ready for summer fun service projects, excellent team builders, a new *free* t-shirt and to see firsthand the great work accomplished by our nonprofits in Northwest Indiana! Friday, August 4th begins with a Kick off Breakfast at two locations before heading out to your registered volunteer project! - Valparaiso Kick off Breakfast will be held at the William E. Urschel Pavilion in Downtown Valpo, 8:00am-9:00am - Portage kick off breakfast will be held at the Portage Township YMCA on Willowcreek Road from 8:00am-9:00am - LaPorte County volunteers should report directly to their work sites.
