The Art of Aging

With the 50-and-older crowd growing in number and vigor, aging has become an art.

And that's the driving force behind The Times-sponsored Art of Aging Lifestyle & Wellness Expo, scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 26 at Blue Chip Casino & Hotel Stardust Event Center in Michigan City.

The event is free with registration open at www.artofagingexpo.com. Walk-ins are welcome on the day of the event, but those who register ahead of time will be eligible for prize drawings that will include a trip and a Microsoft Surface Tablet.

"Local businesses and even our publisher, Chris White, had heard of similar expos and thought it was a good time to try it here," says Jim Pellegrini, head of marketing and creative services for The Times and the man spearheading the program.
