Virtually meet the 2023 Board of Directors. Everyone is welcome!

The Nominating Committee and Secretary are proposing to the general membership the following slate of directors to be elected at this virtual meeting of the Duneland Chamber of Commerce to be held on January 18, 2023:
 
First Term beginning January 2023 through December 2025
Bonny Hildebrand, Franciscan Health
Travis Thatcher-Curtis, NW Health
Dawn Thostesen, United Way of Northwest Indiana
 
Special Exemption beginning January 2023 through December 2023
David Hiestand, Smith Legal Group, LLC

Request for By-Law Change: 
Bylaw currently reads:
The annual financial statement of the Chamber of Commerce shall be reviewed and audited by a certified public accountant.  This individual shall not be a member of the Executive Committee or Budget and Finance Committee. 

Proposed amendment to Article XII (Finance), Section 4:
The monthly financial statements of the Chamber of Commerce shall be reviewed for reasonableness and accuracy by the Treasurer.  The annual financial statement of the Chamber of Commerce shall be reviewed for reasonableness and accuracy by a Certified Public Accountant.  This individual must be independent of the Chamber Board.  As such, the individual shall not be a member of the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, or Budget and Finance Committee.
