This class changes each month, but is typically a beginner's yoga class including: gentle flow, restorative or deep stretch. This month’s class is the Amrit style of Yoga. Amrit Yoga was developed by Yogi Amrit Desai and is defined as a style of Hatha Yoga that “integrates meditative awareness with awakened prana of the body.” A combination of bodywork (Hatha) and mind work (Raja), Amrit Yoga focuses on movement and body sensations with the intention of joining the mind, body and spirit.
