Family 4th Fest

7-11:30 am -  PANCAKE BREAKFAST by the Chesterton Lions Club
9:00 am -  PARADE through Porter - starting at Yost elementary school, and ending in Hawthorne Park
10-11:00 am  -  Turtle Registration
10:30 am  -  FESTIVAL OPENS - bounce houses, food, refreshments, beer garden, poster contest (free entry), games (free entry), music, fireworks.
11:00 am  Annual TURTLE DERBY by the Chesterton Lions Club  - Free Entry.   Great Prizes!  Bring your own turtle - no snapping turtles.
6-7:00 pm  -  Karaoke by Billy
7:00 pm to Close  -  Live Music
9:15 (Dusk)  -  Fireworks - bring a blanket or chairs to sit on the lawn.
